కార్యసాధకుని లక్షణాలు: Nature of the Determined

रत्नैर्महार्हैस्तुतुषुर्न देवा न भेजिरे भीमविषेण भीतिम् ।
सुधां विना न प्रययुर्विरामं न निश्चिदार्थाद्विरमन्ति धीराः ॥

సుధాం వినా న ప్రయయుర్విరామం న నిశ్చితార్ధాద్విరమంతి ధీరాః

This is great subhashita telling us how one has to be dedicated towards his goals with a beautiful example. During the sagara manthana initially all sorts of precious stones and great wealth came out, since the objective of sagara mathana is to get nectar Both devas and asuras were not just satisfied with the wealth came out and continued mathana. After a long time churning of the sea then came out hala hala the poision. The poision that came out started burning both deva asuras. They just didn’t stop the chening due to the phobia of posion. Many other unique things cherned out of sea still they continued or they never stopped to take rest, till they see attained the immortality nectar. In the same way courageous people never quit in the middle of goals they want to attain.

అనుకున్న పని సాధించటానికి ఎంత పట్టుదలతో ఉండాలో, ఒక అద్భుతమైన ఉదాహరణ తో ఈ సుభాషితం చెప్తుంది. క్షీరా సాగర మథనం జరిగేటప్పుడు మొట్టమొదట ఎంతో విలువైన రత్నాలు, మణులు వెలువడ్డాయి అంతటి అద్భుతమైన సంపదకి పొంగి పోక తమకు కావాల్సిన అమృతం కొరకు సాగర మధనం కొనసాగించారు. అలా చాలా సంవత్సరాలు మధించగా భయంకరమైన హాలాహలం బయటకు వచ్చింది, ఆ హాలాహలం ముల్లోకాలను దహించివేయటం మొదలు పెట్టింది అయినా కూడా భీతి చెందకుండా తిరిగి సాగర మథనం కొనసాగించారు. అలా చాలా కాలం మధింస్తుండగా బయట పడిన ఎన్నో వెలకట్టలేని వస్తువులకు సంతృప్తి చెందకుండా, ఇంత కాలం మధించినా అమృతం రాలేదేమి అని నిరాశ చెందకుండా, కొన్ని వేల సంవత్సరాల తరబడి, అమృతం వచ్చేంత వరకూ విశ్రాంతి తీసుకోకుండా చివరకు అమృతాన్ని సాధించారు. అలాగే కార్య సాధకులు కూడా తాము మొదలు పెట్టిన కార్యానికి ఆశించిన ఫలితం వచ్చేంత వరకూ ఎన్ని కష్ట సుఖాలు కలిగినా ప్రలోభ పడకుండా విజయం సాధిస్తారు.
